Senior Manager, Suppy Chain Strategy
We are seeking a high impact supply chain strategy leader to join a small, agile internal consulting team within our global supply chain organization. Reporting to the SVP of Supply Chain through the Senior Director of Strategy, this role will serve as the number two leader within the strategy arm and play a critical role in shaping operational and strategic priorities during an upcoming corporate spinoff.
This is a unique opportunity for a post MBA consultant looking to transition into industry while maintaining exposure to executive leadership, complex problem solving, and enterprise level impact. The role offers meaningful scope, strong visibility, and a balanced workweek relative to traditional consulting environments.
Team Structure
The Supply Chain Strategy team operates in a flat, collaborative model and currently consists of:
- One Senior Director
- One Senior Manager
- Two Managers
- Two Analysts
- Lead high priority internal consulting projects across the supply chain organization
- Serve as the strategic partner and right hand to the Senior Director
- Drive initiatives such as logistics network optimization, vendor prioritization during supply disruptions, tariff mitigation, and sustainability strategy
- Support supply and inventory management during industry volatility
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, planning, and production control teams to implement strategic recommendations
- Engage directly with senior leaders, including the SVP of Supply Chain and business unit executives
- Contribute to separation and transition planning related to the March 31 corporate spinoff
- Help build bench strength within the function and position the team for growth in high margin engineered component markets post spinoff
- Experience in supply chain strategy, operations, or procurement projects
- Exposure to manufacturing adjacent industries such as industrial technology, automotive, or consumer packaged goods
- Strong client facing and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast moving environments
- Broad operational and strategic thinking rather than narrow functional specialization
- Direct exposure to senior leadership in a $20B enterprise

Candidate Profile
We are seeking a post MBA professional with approximately two to three years of experience at a top tier or reputable consulting firm.

Candidates must currently be located in the Greater Boston area. Relocation is not preferred at this stage.
